Long Sleeve Wedding Dresses

The long-sleeve wedding dress turns the sleeve into a true style statement, capable of profoundly changing the character and proportions of the gown. Romantic, sophisticated, minimal or theatrical, the long sleeve belongs to no single season and can be interpreted through extremely different fabrics and constructions.

Sophie

Sophie is a mermaid wedding dress from Le Fate Milano’s Grace – Chapter II collection, with a refined, feminine line, designed to enhance the silhouette with elegance and personality. The design gently follows the body, tracing its curves with balance, before opening into a small train that adds movement and[...]

It can have a romantic, timeless charm, especially when the design continues across the bodice to create refined sheer effects. Chantilly lace, floral embroidery, illusion tulle and three-dimensional appliqués make the sleeve light and precious, almost like a second skin.

But the long sleeve can also be decidedly modern. Crêpe, mikado, silk and structured fabrics create clean, architectural lines, while organza, chiffon and tulle allow for light, wide or billowing sleeves. A fitted sleeve also produces a completely different result from a puff, soft or detachable sleeve.

At the Le Fate Milano atelier, the selection includes long-sleeve wedding dresses from our collections and designs by Italian and international designers, chosen for the quality of their fabrics and craftsmanship.

The sleeve can complete equally varied silhouettes: mermaid wedding dresses, A-line, ball gown or flowing styles. It can accompany a plunging neckline for an interesting play of contrasts, or become part of a more rigorous, minimalist construction.

It is therefore not simply a solution for a winter wedding dress, but a true style choice. From embroidered, romantic sleeves to cleaner, contemporary couture interpretations, this element creates an elegant, personal and instantly recognizable bridal look.
